Violence in South Sudan has led to more than 200,000 people fleeing to seek refuge in neighbouring Uganda. TEAR Australia is urgently raising money toward a revised goal of $100,000 to expand the provision of water and sanitation in the Bidibidi settlement.
Our Kitchen Table is a group of mothers in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne who gather fortnightly around a humble kitchen table. We gather to share our lives, support each other and look outside of ourselves, to empower women and mothers globally by supporting the work of TEAR and its' partners. Here, we raise funds for our sisters in India. Sahaasee, we stand with you.
An online shop for all of St Jude's to use to buy really useful gifts...all year around.
So excited and blessed with this opportunity to be travelling to India in january for 2 months. We will be working with TEAR Australia and EFICOR immersing ourselves in their vital projects which are providing crucial solutions to some of the poorest people of India. Funds will go directly to this!
We were thinking about where we'd go for our first wedding anniversary, and we came across TEAR's InDEEP program! What better way to celebrate love and being together than by getting alongside TEAR's partners who seek to spread God's love to poor and marginalised communities across India? 7 weeks, wooohoooo!
The partners of TEAR Australia are already doing amazing work for the poor of India. My goal is to raise money for the work of these partners, such as EFICOR. Support is required for the continued work of these people. Will you help the continued work of our partners in Christ?
I'd like to help impact people's lives this Christmas and raise money for a well :)
We have decided to make 2017 a gap year, and are starting the year by joining the TEAR program to visit some of their projects in India. We will also spend time in Delhi learning about life in India. I think our time in India will be very challenging emotionally. However, it will be an amazing privilege to experience such a different way of life for 50 days.
Struggling with your Christmas shopping? Why not purchase a Useful Gift and make a contribution to a long-term poverty-fighting project run by one of TEAR Australia's Christian partners. Each project is tailored to that community's needs, helping people gain the skills and resources they need to address local problems.
