How your gift helps

Dhumba is TEAR's program to support Indigenous projects and partners within Australia. 'Dhumba' is a Woi Wurrung word for 'talk, tell, speak.' We aim to talk together, tell the stories and speak out with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

TEAR's Dhumba program:

  • Supports Christian organisations training Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in community development
  • Provides seed funding for small community initiatives
  • Provides ways of bringing Indigenous and non-Indigenous people together.

For $25, you can make a donation to the Dhumba program. You'll receive a beautiful card that has an illustrated biblical reflection of Luke 4:18-19 by the Indigenous artist Safina Stewart.
