In Nepal’s Nuwakot valley, Tearfund’s partner Share and Care is working to build gender-inclusive communities where women are safe, heard, and empowered. Women gather regularly to save money, grow livelihoods, learn about their rights, and advocate for their needs. Survivors of gender based violence and human trafficking receive counselling and are offered legal support. Teenage girls raise awareness through song and dance on issues like human trafficking and early marriage. It’s a vibrant movement of healing and hope -- where women are shaping a more just future.
