How your gift helps
This Useful Gift supports the training of First Nations leaders to facilitate family well-being and family violence prevention conversations in their communities. Tearfund partners with Nungalinya College in the Northern Territory through its Faith and Family Wellbeing Certificate II course. Marjorie (pictured) is one of the students undertaking the course.
“It’s a hard life, but coming back to Nungalinya, God has shown me ways I can help. I want to teach others and help them grow—physically and spiritually. I’m ready to return home and support my family and friends. I want our people to know they are free,” she shares with hope and determination."
