Participation in an action group supported by Tearfund’s Christian partner Share and Care Nepal has given women access to opportunities that they otherwise wouldn’t have had – including raising goats!

As well as providing milk and manure fertiliser, goats can be bred and passed on to other families, sharing the benefits throughout the community. More than just a cute furry face, the gift of a goat gives people the skills and tools to transform their lives through better agriculture techniques, understanding of nutrition, and income generation.
