Water is life! But in many parts of the world, a lack of access to safe water puts lives, health and development at risk. This gift helps people access lifegiving clean water and reduces preventable diseases.

Ongoing poverty can force people to use unsafe, contaminated or distant water sources. By purchasing this gift, you are supporting Tearfund’s partners working with communities to help them access clean water.

In the hills of Nepal, collecting water is a long and exhausting task – often carried out by women, stealing precious time from daily life. Tearfund’s faithful partner, Share and Care, is helping communities access safe water by installing water systems and forming Water Committees. These groups empower both women and men to manage, protect and maintain their new drinking water sources—bringing lasting change, together.
