Tearfund’s Christian partner the Evangelical Fellowship of India Commission on Relief (EFICOR) supports people impacted by poverty through community development programs, including training and resources to help people build stronger livelihoods.

With EFICOR’s support, this family is raising goats. As well as providing milk and manure fertiliser, goats can be bred and passed on to other families, sharing the benefits throughout the community. More than just a cute furry face, the gift of a goat gives people the skills and tools to transform their lives through better agricultural techniques and income generation.
