Train a Health Worker
Description
This gift supports community health and mental health initiatives, empowering vulnerable communities with access to life-giving care and services, support networks, and education about health, nutrition and mental well-being. The result: stronger, more resilient communities.
How your gift helps
Your gift helps train and equip health workers to bring lasting change -- even in the most remote communities.
Health workers at a remote community centre in India are celebrating. There hasn’t been a single case of severe or moderate acute malnutrition in eight months!
Expectant mums Sunita and Ravina have been on a journey toward better nutrition, guided by dedicated health workers supported by Tearfund’s faithful partner, EFICOR. They’ve learned the value of a diverse, nutrient-rich diet and with seeds provided by the centre, they’ve even started growing their own vegetables, just in time for their growing family.
