Description

Tearfund supports community development initiatives led by and in partnership with First Peoples of Australia. How your gift helps

This gift contributes to supporting community development work in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and providing seed funding for new community development initiatives led by Christian First Peoples.

With support from Tearfund, Brisbane-based partner Strong Women Talking (pictured) were able to meet the needs of vulnerable women and children in their community during the COVID-19 pandemic. They have since continued their usual program work of helping break the cycle of violence and address the impacts of intergenerational trauma for women.
