Tearfund’s partner Medair incorporates mental health and psychosocial support into its health projects in Somalia.

Halima* says: “I fled the war in 2017; I lost everything and left some of my belongings. We have passed a lot of sad situations in life and if we don’t talk about it, everything sad that happens remains in our heart and causes stress and mental illness. We are very grateful to Medair and also the community volunteers who provide us with education messages. It will not bring our life back to normal but at least we can cope with the current situation.”
