Gifts of freedom

We often take for granted our ability to have a voice in society, access to an education and good civil and corporate governance. However, many poor communities don't have the same rights and freedoms as we do. This can be due to ongoing conflict or a lack of awareness, education or training.

These gifts help to provide people with the gift of freedom. The gifts fund projects and programs that come under our Strengthening Civil Society banner. This means that the projects deliver awareness training, peace and reconciliation programs, and human rights advocacy.

E-card

Ecards offer fast delivery and a personalised message. A photo and description of your gift will be included and you will receive a copy of the e-card. E-cards are delivered as a pdf attachment in an email which the recipient can view on screen or print. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt.

Printed card

Our printed cards feature the photo and name of the gift plus space inside for you to write a personal message. On the back of the card is a short description of TEAR's work, a description of the item you've purchased as it appears on-line (except for the price) and a caption for the photo. All cards are printed according to Clean Green Print environmental standards. The number of cards you receive will be the same as the quantity of gifts purchased. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt.

Print your own card

If you want a more traditional card but you're in a hurry, you can choose to print your own. This option provides you with a pdf designed for printing on A4 paper.
