We all know an education is important. There are many difficulties people face if they can't read or write, or don't have basic numeracy. Without the ability to read basic signs, information and forms, such as paperwork to enrol in school, people miss out on opportunities to better their life.

These gifts help to provide people with the gift of learning and empower them to improve their life. The gifts fund projects and programs that come under our Basic Education banner. The projects deliver education to children and adults through teacher training, school supplies and equipment, as well as helping children gain access to local government schooling.

E-card

Ecards offer fast delivery and a personalised message. A photo and description of your gift will be included and you will receive a copy of the e-card. E-cards are delivered as a pdf attachment in an email which the recipient can view on screen or print. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt.

Printed card

Our printed cards feature the photo and name of the gift plus space inside for you to write a personal message. On the back of the card is a short description of TEAR's work, a description of the item you've purchased as it appears on-line (except for the price) and a caption for the photo. All cards are printed according to Clean Green Print environmental standards. The number of cards you receive will be the same as the quantity of gifts purchased. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt.

Print your own card

If you want a more traditional card but you're in a hurry, you can choose to print your own. This option provides you with a pdf designed for printing on A4 paper.
